Jack is developing into our natural replacement for Davies , his reading of the game is immense and his ability to hold back and not rush into tackles is a sign of maturity imho .

Was surprised not to hear the name of Ryan Jack from the pundits when discussing MotM being between Aribo and Kent !

 

The goal scoring exploits of Morelos this season has meant Ryan Jack getting about 40% of the accolades that he is due, he really is a tremendous midfielder and we will miss him badly against Braga at Ibrox.

 

I commented on his measured finishing skills last springtime and on Friday it was a wonderfully disguised and measured pass to set Aribo up that was all about a quality that very few midfielders in Scotland possess. Apart from that, he just bossed the middle of the park.

OK, as it stands, Morelos is in front with nine MotM awards.

 

Ryan Jack is in second place with 7 awards and Aribo/Davis in joint third with 4 awards - the Nigerian midfielder with three of those in the last three games.

 

In terms of other information, Goldson is our best defender with 2 awards but Borna Barisic has more 2nd/3rd places so perhaps has impressed more fans across the season.

 

Biggest surprise is no MotM award yet for Tav , Kent or Arfield - all of whom will have had more than a few if we'd done this last season.
