Super_Ally 0
Time for a Total Boycott of Rangers 'away' games in Scotland? I say YES!!!! Perhaps not a whole season of away games, but maybe a wee period that includes the JT's. Say 4 or 5 games Ramgers refuse ticekts. That would send a clear message.
Frankie 8,552
Not sure about a whole season but I'd definitely boycott the first game at Tynecastle to send out a message that our fans will not be abused financially.
pete 2,499
Romanov or whatever you call him, doesn't let the half of his own team turn up do you think he cares if other supporters turn up.
Gribz 850
Romanov is messed up in the head, if we boycotted Tynecastle once he would probably say we are banned for 5 years - clown! But I agree with the Tynecastle boycott for sure. Of course a lot of fans can afford 33 quid but thats not the point as a lot cant, and there is no way they cant justify the increase of price. I dont agree with a full season of boycotts but if any club increase there prices simply because the old firm are in town then both RFC and CFC should refuse tickets striaght away as we do line there pockets. The OF should work together on this one. Both clubs share the same interest in wanting an Atlantic league as have outgrown the SPL so there is NO WAY we should be held to ransom for trips to Dunfermline and Hearts.
Guest bobby
you dont need a full season of boycott's the two games at tynecastle by the old firm and hibs [ 6 games ] that should send a message to Romanoff that weve had enough of him
stewarty 2,010
If you geoffrey boycott all the away games then you penalise those clubs who offer tickets to away fans at reasonable prices. The trouble with rejecting tickets for Tynecastle is that they are likely to be able to sell the tickets to their own fans which would render the whole exercice pointless. Best thing to do would be for the clubs(s) to take the matter up with the SPL. Did they not fine someone last season for over-inflating tickets for away fans?

Stewarty, Yes, you'd penalise the weer clubs that charge fair prices - but is there any??? Give an example of clubs that haven't ripped off the Old Firm:flipa: As for the Jam Tart fans taking up extra tickets... well, that would only be the case IF they were actually in the position they were a couple of seasons ago (when they cut the number of tickets to RFC). As for taking it up with the SPL or SFA... well, the only way that'd be taken seriously is if Celtic FC complained - but 'IF' that happens all that'll happen is the increases in ticket prices will be more gradual (ie a 'less steep curve'). Has to be a COMPLETE ban i'm afraid...:uzi: btw the idea that Bears haven't missed a game for xx amount of seasons doesn't have to change - as suggested yesterday any Bear with those sentiments can go to the home end and probably pay less in the bargain!

If we boycott Tynecastle Romanov WONT ban Rangers Fans - Romanov is just a greedy Capitalist (like Murray) and the bottom line as always is guess what... I'll give you a clue - it 'makes the world turn around' apparently...

Still not convinced it's the way forward. I think we need to make our complaints via the correct channels regardless of whether Celtic complain. Perhaps if the club returned a token amount of tickets as a gesture of dissatisfaction; along with a formal complaint via the SFA/SPL or whoever the corrrect body for this is. Also, fans could refuse to partake in any spending in and around the ground on matchday. These suggestions might be a better means of making our thoughts known?
