According to Talksport, Allegri was in the running for the job before Emery, but his English is even worse so he was rejected. Not sure Rogers would leave at the mo, maybe at the end of the season. Nah, the injury he took looked horrid - was at the back post and he and the opponent got tangled up with his arm being twisted behind his back whilst locked straight.
