compo 7,030
Just sacked their manager wonder who's next for the job of leading the Arsenal .
Scott7 6,002
Bloke at Wolves is current favourite. Ancelotti would be my choice. I assume Gerard has already been approached and declined or “snubbed” as journos say.
Uilleam 5,929
It's not surprising, really, and any sympathy for Emery must be tempered by the fact that Arsenal gave him plenty time and opportunities to get the side on track, which he patently failed to do; results and performances, if anything, got worse with time. The other factor which reduces any solicitousness is, of course, that he will trouser a lottery win as a pay-off. Nuno Espirito Santo, Mikel Arteta, and Max Allegri seem to be the front runners. But currently the squad is where it should be, mid-table. Shocking because this season could easily have seen them qualify for the CL.

Bill 13,717
Arsenal should pay whatever it takes to take Graham Potter from Brighton and guarantee him a minimum of three years.

BHA extended Potter’s contract to five years. Announced yesterday but no doubt the wheels were set in motion when Emery was fired.

I saw that - looks like a defensive tactic but only insofar as it might drive compensation value.
