This is a fantastic result for our Youth team.

A big well done to the players and coaching staff.

What direction does the competition take from now on?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Youth_League

After a two-year trial period, the UEFA Youth League became a permanent UEFA competition starting from the 2015–16 season, with the tournament expanded from 32 to 64 teams to allow the youth domestic champions of the top 32 associations according to their UEFA country coefficients to also participate. The 32 UEFA Champions League group stage youth teams retain the group stage format, with the group winners advancing to the round of 16 and the runners-up advancing to the play-offs. The 32 youth domestic champions play two rounds of two-legged ties, with the eight winners advancing to the play-offs, where they play a single match at home against the Champions League path runners-up. The round of 16 onwards retain the same format of single-leg ties as before.[5]

Local success ignored.

This calendar year, Rangers Youths have been a success story. They have won the Youth League, Youth Cup, reached the semi-finals of the Tunnocks Challenge Cup, and effectively reached the last sixteen of the Youth Champions League. Young Scots doing well in Europe are akin to Hens' Teeth. I tried to find coverage in a handful of Scots based newspapers, both print and on-line, without success. I thought the Glasgow Evening Times would be the best bet, they have a specific section entitled, 'Rangers', again nothing.

Recently, the Evening Times received a new Editor, Callum Baird. He held the same designation at the National. Maybe he was after greater job security, the Weirs are moving towards securing Partick Thistle's future; or after five years he has acknowledged the National peak sales remain under 7,000. I believe the Evening Times sells double that amount? The rule of thumb on local newspapers is to emphasise local success stories.

Today's copy is pretty much a Stacey Mullen production. She is described as, 'Senior Multimedia Reporter'. The on line front page has five stories : 'Notre Dame High School to admit boys', 'Celtic players star in Lewis Capaldi video', 'Celtic star Scott Brown and Lisbon Lions attend Rod Stewart's opening night at the Hydro', 'Line of Duty star, Martin Compston supports SNP candidate ahead of election', and the Rangers story to prove objectivity, 'Rangers set to launch special edition BLACK SHIRTS'. Stacey covers the first four, whereas Paige Beresford does the snigger-fest Nazi/Rangers double entendre.

Now, Stacey has quite a past, she used to prefer to be known as, 'Showbiz Stacey', her social media feeds back 15 years past, were full of H-u-n comments and a proclamation of never dying love for Sellik. These days, Stacey is a practitioner of careful hate, pushes her love for the green'n'grey far more than her never dying hate for Rangers. She leaves the naked hatred for her juniors. Her best buddy and she sits beside her at Sellik Park is, Jane Hamilton. Remember, she had us on the front page of the Sunday Mail after the 2016 Scottish Cup final. According to Jane Rangers supporters adopted Northern Ireland Loyalist tactics of throwing children in front of responding police vehicles.

Note to Callum Baird, Slovan Bratislava Youths 1 Rangers Youths 2, aggregate 1-4, you can report of the wrong Scots too?

Some terrific play from that young team , plus I must say our boys are very honest , there were a few instances I was  expecting players to go down .

Young players should be taking a lesson from the GOAT.  Messi has shown that you'll gain more from staying up/bouncing up than going down willy-nilly.
