Guy who claims to be ITK says Lovro Majer isn’t interested in the offers he’s had from Spain and Russia and wants to come to Rangers and will wait until the summer if he has to. Given he’d cost €6m+ I would think if it happens at all it will be in the summer.

No problem whatsoever if this happens. I've always thought the Balkan leagues offer the best value in today's bloated transfer market. Players are generally technically gifted and adapt well to the the Scottish/British game (Prso, Jelavic, Barasic and Katic).

Maybe a sign that we are laying the foundations for a summer departure for Alfie?

Stoke City and Middlesbrough will both make moves to land Jordan Jones - if Rangers let him out on-loan.

Blackburn are also keen but will face competition from their Championship rivals if Steven Gerrard decides the Northern Ireland international can leave on a temporary basis.

Jones is currently training with the Light Blues at their Dubai camp.

Stoke boss Michael O’Neill knows Jones well because he is also his international manager.

He would love to the Rangersman to the Potteries to aid their fight for survival in the English Championship.

Jones' former club Middlesbrough are also keen.

They have already signed Patrick Robertson-loan from Norwich City but want to add another winger in this window.

The 25-year-old came through the ranks at the Riverside although it wasn’t until he moved to Scotland and Kilmarnock in 2016 that he really started to make his name.
Gerrard was suitable impressed to sign him on a pre-contract in the summer.

Jones made an early impression in the early Europa League games and domestically but his season stalled after he suffered an injury in the defeat to Celtic that left him side-lined until the end of last year.

Rangers have a lot of domestic and European commitments and it is not clear whether or not Gerrard would want the winger to go out.

Rangers are trying to clear more of their fringe players.
Andy King has returned to Leicester City and Jamie Murphy, Matt Polster, Greg Docherty and Glenn Middleton all available to go out on loan.

Rangers are also keen on Stoke City striker Tyrese Campbell, who is also attracting interest from rivals Celtic.

While there might be interest, I can't see this happening, even as a loan. When fully fit, Jordan Jones is sure the main contender for the left-wing  / left-attacking midfield slot behind Kent. Barker hasn't shown even half of the promise that Jones did early in the season and the latter is a proven player at Premiership level. Thus, I'd rather envisage a loan for Barker rather than Jones.

King is away now, Grezda too. I reckon that Middleton and Docherty will follow, most likely on loan. There will probably be interest in Foderingham, while Polster has already stated that he won't look to move on. It was also said that he can and has played as DM (as well as RB), an area where we have lost/will lose two players. Likewise, he hardly put a foot wrong when he was on the park.

While others may disagree and probably point at the "never change a running system" mantra, I do find it somewhat strange that we keep picking the same players over and over again (whether in form or not). We play teams of a varying degree of quality every week, sometimes twice a week, yet won't give the "back-up" folk a chance to keep themselves sharp  in case some of the "first row union" drop out through injury et al. The only real change that happened of late was the exclusion of  Ojo from the starting line-ups and even the bench (without much of an official explanation). Obviously, Aribo's form and the arrival of Kent have to be thrown into the equation here.

buy him sign him sign them all what about giving some of the youngsters a chance if we are a couple up against Hamilton in our next match give a couple of the best lads twenty minutes in the first eleven

Exactly! Why don't we see the likes of King, Young-Coombes, Kelly, Mayo, Kennedy, Mepude et al at least on the bench? Liverpool put 5 youngsters with limited experience on the field v Everton in the cup and emerged triumphant. if we are modelling our style of play on them why not their strategy too?

I think we will see this more in 1-2 years. The best of our young players are a bit younger and not quite there yet. Another variable this season is that goal difference is looking important so if we are 3-0 up the foot can't come off the gas.

Not only that but this season is absolutely pivotal.  King, Gerrard and everyone else don't want them to get 9IAR because the pressure on making it 10 would be extraordinary - however, if we can win the title this year then that run is broken and there may be slightly less pressure, allowing the use of youngsters to come in.  The other thing is that, as Gerrard builds his squad and makes it much stronger and putting teams to the sword more often, it will eventually result in comfortable leads which allows the youngsters the odd 30 minutes here and there.  Along with that, we can bring youngsters in for full games given the starting XI is so strong - we haven't had that for years where you can actually carry a player or two.

I suspect that many of those complaining about a lack of rotation would have been bemoaning when Morelos was left out of the Celtic game at Ibrox earlier in the season... among other games too.  For me, play your strongest team every game if you can - the only time to drop someone is if they are out of form or to strategically ensure they won't miss important games through suspension.  This season is too important to play around with rotation - even the weaker teams still make things difficult.

That's quite a thought. If we can keep improving our squad it could happen, but that's a big if. Replacing Alfredo's goals could be the biggest recruitment challenge Rangers will face this whole decade.
