He uses his pace to get behind the defence and if there is a 10 man defence in the box, how does that work? Watch the videos / dvds of his time at Rangers and players like Numan, Fergie, De Boer, Caneggia knew how to get the best out of Lovenkrands. Didn't help that AM thought of Lovenkrands as a left winger / left midfield player, something that he never was. Left in a front 3 (successfull there in AM's first season and a bit) or through the middle (AM's last CL campaign). That is what I, and I believe Gribz are getting at - the standard of player has dropped dramatically and most have bought the myth from Murray. I cannot believe that any Rangers fan is more impressed by Burke, Adam, Gow, Broadfoot etc than players like Peter Lovenkrands. Well done Mr Murray, you have sold the nightmare to the majotiry. Cammy F I agree with this if Adam, Burke etc had been in the reserves during the trophy laden 90's they wouldn't have got in the reserve team never mind the first 11. Also if yiou had said to us then that the 'star' summer signings would have been from Falkirk and St Mirren we would have laughed.
