Another cracking episode of the 4LadsHadaDream podcast is now available across the usual Gersnet platforms, including on YouTube below.

Your host @Stevie - 4lads Blog welcomes special guest Gordon Smith to discuss his time at Rangers and Scottish football.  Journalist Chris Jack and H&H podder Caroline Morrison also analyse all the recent news from the club, including the latest transfer rumours.

At the risk of repeating myself too many times let me say that the quality of pods we get about Rangers is excellent.  It's yet another example of the reason why I don't feel the need to ever seek out content from the mainstream media.  Great job again guys.

In the early days of pods I felt that 30 minutes was long enough and yet now I can't get enough of them.  The Gersnet pod was another example this week where it finished and I couldn't believe an hour or so had passed.

I agree with you in terms of quality and interest, which have generally improved a lot. However, I disagree on the length. I haven't listened to an entire podcast for a long time, certainly since the beginning of the year and only seldom before that. Opportunities to listen uninterrupted for an hour are few and far between and to listen to more than one podcast is a luxury I couldn't even contemplate. While I would listen if they were shorter, they're simply not available to me in any practical sense. Ideally, 20 minutes would be perfect. I'm sure an hour long podcast suits many. I'm equally sure it excludes even more.

I'm Like Bill in that I'd not listen to a podcast for more than an hour but I'm happy to pick up the rest of it later that day or the following day. Hoggy on H&H did a great one on Cooper that lasted almost 2 hours and I spread out my listening over 3 or 4 days,

I usually listen to the H&H daily update on the way home from work which lasts around 25 minutes and is an ideal length to come up to date with the day's happenings.

I would agree that the quality of pods is fantastic. H&H had one on RC Hamilton from more than 100 years ago that I'm looking forward to listening to and I've still to listen to their seven part "war years". Essential listening to anyone interested in the history of our great club, on top of the regular weekly pods from Gersnet, 4Lads and the multitude of H&H offerings to their paying subscribers.
