We needed this for more reasons than one. We needed the points to maintain full points before they come to Ibrox. On a psychological level we needed an impressive display to match theirs. And just as importantly at least to me we needed to give this lot a humiliating hammering that's been long overdue.

Took a while to get that 3rd and hibs could and perhaps should have equalised in first few mins of the second half but that was epic. 

 

If we had scores 15 goals there could have been no complaints. 

 

Keeper and ref were easily their best players. 

 

Ours were too numerous to name.

Is it further evidence we have turned a corner when it comes to breaking down these park the bus strategies? The options available are just so numerous and that's aside from the Defoe and Morelos options.

Well, Hibs tried to play football too, were totally overran and never got the spades out. I would assume that the Ross Counties, Hamiltons and Co. will ask more questions still, but we look so full of options and quality now ... today was really satisfying indeed.
