Gazza_8 233
Makes no difference to the SPL clubs. There's no more and no less rounds to play.
alanmidd 0
eh yes it does, they go in at the 4th round rather than the third :fish:
Gazza_8 233
Aye but there's more teams in it which means more rounds (one to be exact). The SPL teams who reach the final will play 6 games just like they did last season and the season before and the season before. 3rd, 4th, 5th, QF, SF and Final.
fraser54 0
Think it's goofd for the lower teams to get a chance. Maybe one day my team about 5mins away from me Johnstone Burgh will play us in the Scottish cup at their home ground. That would be some day out
stewarty 2,002
I think it's a great move. It gives junior/ senior clubs the chance for a crack at the big boys which is no bad thing. For me, it's a stepping stone to having a pyramid structure which is what the game has been crying out for. Hopefully Gordon Smith will push for it.
