David Turnbull Won't be joining Celtic

Recommended Posts

I notice from today's prints that rasellik "will not lose any sleep over missing out on Turnbull".

Its spokesman was a coach, one John Kennedy, an ex player. It seems he suggested that Turnbull was prioritising money over medals, and that this would come back to haunt the player.

His Satanic Majesty's FC is smarting considerably from the knock back.

Oh, and

"John Kennedy was speaking to promote Celtic Soccer Academy's Summer Skills Schools,

for children aged 4-14."

Not the member of staff you'd have thought to talk about a young player and the choosing of contracts.

Injured at 21 and never really recovered.

Not to mention the clubs he was involved with (Turnbull may do them in a different order)

Taken from his wiki page....

On 14 July 2008, BBC Sport reported that Kennedy had joined Motherwell on a six-month loan deal,[21] but this report was denied by Celtic later that day.[22] Kennedy did, however, meet up with the Motherwell squad in Austria, on trial. Soon afterwards Kennedy joined Norwich City on loan until January 2009.[23]
