We'll start our League camapign against a team with a longtime No.2 taking on the main role, albeit at a much smaller club.

Let's hope the Italian has a very bad start.

I think the difficulty we had in putting together a decent and interested short list post Caixinha, makes GaryMac more likely to be at least considered if he were to show any interest, within the scenario I painted earlier in the thread.

You look at the other side of the City and despite recent success, bank balances and all the rhetoric, they certainly appeared to struggle regards attracting a decent manager.

Alessio announced he wanted to try a management position early this year. He has a long coaching career too.

Caixinha was a board choice. We now have a DoF, with a system in place whereby a key remit will be scouting and maintaining a list of potential managerial candidates that fit the desired profile.

They still maintain an old-fashioned model, so it's no surprise they've struggled. Long may it continue. :D

There's only so many times I can say it: I am pretty certain Gary Mac will not be on a list of potential candidates for us.

We'll need to agree to disagree. I just don't see it.
