They have a massive support and seemingly endless cash but the dressing room has been rife with problems since Keegan left (or Shearer joined). They have chopped and changed managers and none of them were ever settled. I feel they have always needed a big proven name. I think they have that in Allardyce although he hasnt managed at the top but he has taken Bolton to a top 6 team in the Premiership in the last few years and thats a superb job. Moore was good for us but it all ended up pair shaped. Newcastle have ruined his career as they can be poison with that dressing room. Hopefully he gets a decent club somewhere. They are one of the worst in the EPL, they are famous for just out muscling opponents and long balls. But Sam turned them from a lower league side to a top 6 EPL team and signed some big players like Jay-Jay Okocha, Djorkaeff, Campo...
