Cardiff players plane disappears over Channel

Dalman confirmed the French club are threatening legal action, but they are seeking "clarification" on the issue.

Dalman said: "Of course, if we are contractually obliged to pay them then of course we will. We are an honourable club.

"But if we are not - and there are some anomalies in that - then surely you would expect me as the chairman and guardian of this club's interests to look into that and hold our position. That is what we are doing.

I'm sure Dalman has far more knowledge of the situation then me, but he had already been contracted to Cardiff with all documentation completed with all Association's.  If they don't believe they are due to pay the transfer fee then there must be some form of get out clause - which will ultimately come down to contract interpretation.

Sad that it gets to this - but he is right, Cardiff DO have an obligation to their club, regardless of how insensitive it seems.

As an aside, there are absolutely disgusting pics of Sala's mutilated body (allegedly his body anyway, who knows in this age of photoshop) doing the rounds - appalling that someone would find the need to disseminate such stuff.
