les186 271
Just like last season outfought and outplayed at Rugby Park.

I'm not sure you can blame a manager for a central defender making a schoolboy error - even when he turned back to the keeper he never even challenged the boy, he just let him run away from him. It was that moment where the game was lost.
der Berliner 3,808
Tactical masterstroke from Clarke and Co. excellent stuff ... bla, bla, bla. They weren't to be seen until Worrall's error and after that, we simply accepted their way of playing standard, tried to best them and failed miserably. Again. You would hope that SG noted that against this set-up of brick-walls and pacy (and able) attackers, Worrall and McAuley aren't the best choice. These fixtures - and none more so than those at this ground - have all the potentials of becoming vital points-graves. People will disagree and search first and foremost in our failures, but the next 5 games have all the markings of breaking our season ... while the Yahoos get an easy ride.
DMAA 3,658
Worrall’s blunder shot us in the foot and a freak goal like that always throws you off. Same again with Jones, goal from absolutely nowhere and from then on it’s really hard to get back into it. The way people on here are talking is as if Kilmarnock were slicing us open and creating loads of chances. They had two lucky breaks, scored 2 from 3 shots on target.

Plays a bomb scare in Worrall who’s a loanee amd not the guy he signed on a full time basis. Takes far too long in trying to change things. Not the second time this season he’s managed a shambles. Killie had a manager with a plan and players who gave everything in carrying out that plan. Rant over. This whole "should have played our own player and not a loanee" is just tiresome. Nobody, I repeat nobody, was saying that on December 29th post-game. It's nonsense. Play the best players available, loanees or not. No manager in their right mind will play their own player over a loanee if the loanee is better. The question is whether Worrall is better than Katic. That's a different question. But the "loanee vs owned" player is just silly.
Gonzo79 15,299
The scum are now 6 points ahead. Unless they make an arse of it we've handed them the league tonight.
BlackSocksRedTops 3,809
Am I only thinking it's got to be Morelos or Defoe, not both? Playing 2 similair strikers reduced our width IMO.
der Berliner 3,808
Wee afterthought ... it was utterly dire to watch them getting first to nigh any header or lump up the field or chasing down anyone in orange. Ever willing, ever working, tirelessly. You have to give them that.
RANGERRAB 3,742
An awful night. Sorry to say it but I don’t want to see players in their mid to late thirties in our team. McAuley is past it for starters

I agree. It was a fairly even match. Our silly mistakes cost us.
