BEARGER 1,830
Anyone else see the performance from this young lad? In front of Main Stand Broomie end, any slower and he would be stopped.

Must have been watching Hamilton goalie and others and found it worthwhile copying?
ranger_syntax 4,424
I've always wondered what the problem with the ball boys is. The have been useless as long as I can remember.

Maybe the type of thoughtful young man we need in midfield a player who is unhurried just as big slim played the game sign him quickly.
Rousseau 10,825
Anyone see the ball boys in the Olympiakos-Milan game? Olympiakos needed the win, and to run down the clock and stop attacks they were throwing balls onto the pitch. It might have been the fans -- like Feyenoord.

Rapid were doing that towards the end of our game too
buster. 5,266
A very well respected and liked poster from FF who has since passed on, 'Number_Eight', used to tell a good story about ball boys. He used to be a ball boy at Ibrox of occasion in the 60's and in one European game against Borussia Dortmund on the run to an eventual Final appearence in 66/67, he considered himself to have been partly responsible for an assist. A ball was launched high into the sky and Number_Eight ran, got under it and caught it and quickly threw it direct to a Rangers player, who took a quick throw that led to a goal.
pete 2,499
Did Graham Souness not remove all the ball boys during one game to waste time?

They're fining clubs these days for far less.

Fines for that kind of thing aren’t enough. If it’s deliberate and intended to spoil the game they should simply book the nearest home player. Stamp it out overnight.
