DMAA 3,658
A win would be worth €1.07m. Not to be scoffed at given the sorry state of our finances. Further to the the prize money it’s a statement to the rest of Scottish football that we are back, on the European stage doing what Aberdeen had 6-7 chances to do and failed miserably. And if someone like Morelos scores the winning goal add a couple of million to his value.

Got the whole day in Vienna, so the plan is to stay off the drink until mid-afternoon (plenty to see and do, so shouldn't be too difficult). Maybe you would be better sight seeing and participating in a bevvy? as opposed to going to the match just to be frustrated!?

BEARGER 1,830
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/sk-rapid-wien-aut-v-rangers-fc-sco-travel-advice World news story SK Rapid Wien (AUT) v Rangers FC (SCO) travel advice Travel advice for Rangers FC fans travelling to Vienna for the SK Rapid Wien v Rangers FC UEFA Europa League match on Thursday 13 December 2018. Published 10 December 2018 From: British Embassy Vienna Date: Thursday 13 December 2018 Venue: Allianz Stadion, 1140 Vienna Kick off time: 18:55 As well as this advice, check out our travel advice for Austria Passports and visas If you have a UK passport, you don’t need a visa to travel to Austria, but your passport should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay. Remember your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) but also take out travel insurance, even if you’re only going for one night. It could save you a lot of money if you get into difficulties. If your passport is lost or stolen, you’ll need to get an Emergency Travel Document from the British Embassy in Vienna. Please note it can take up to 2 working days for you to get your document. Getting to the stadium / Meeting point The Allianz Stadion is located in the west of Vienna, about 8 kilometres from the city centre. The address is Gerhard-Hanappi-Platz 1, 1140 Wien. The Allianz Stadion metro station ‘Hütteldorf’ lies right next to Allianz Stadion. It is the last stop on the U4 green metro line. Schwedenplatz in Vienna’s first district has been named as the main meeting point for Rangers FC fans in the run up to the game. By 16:00: Rangers FC fans should congregate around the grassy area at Morzinplatz (the northern end of Schwedenplatz, near the ‘Schwedenplatz’ U4 metro station). From here, officials will direct Rangers FC fans to ‘Schwedenplatz’ metro station – one of the U4 green line City Centre stations. From 16:30: Metro trains will leave from ‘Schwedenplatz’ station and take Rangers FC fans to the ‘Ober St.Veit’ station (2nd last stop) from where they will be escorted to the nearby Allianz Stadion. Please note: Tickets for the game are not valid as tickets for travel to the game. Tickets for public transport to the game should be purchased separately from the machines found in metro stations. Please also note that no flares are allowed on the underground or any other means of public transport and the wider vicinity of the underground stations (incl Schwedenplatz, Morzinplatz). Rangers FC supporters planning to get to the stadium by (pre-booked) bus from ‘Schwedenplatz’ will need to arrive at the Allianz stadium at Linzer Straße drop-off point for coaches. After the match, busses will pick up those Rangers supporters again at Linzer Straße and take them either back to ‘Schwedenplatz’ city centre or to the airport. (For alternative routes, please check the local route planner website for Vienna.) At the match The stadium will open around 17:30. Those Rangers FC fans with tickets for the North stands (sectors S3, S4, S5) will all be directed to the left side sector 5 by official match stewards. Relevant megaphone announcements will also be made in the relevant areas. Access to the stadium can be slow – there will be ticket checks and body searches at the entrance to the turnstiles; get to the stadium therefore early. Please note: Tickets for the game are sold out and there will be no official tickets available for purchase at the stadium. There will also be no possibility to obtain tickets anywhere around the stadium. Tips As in any other city beware of pickpockets and bag snatchers at airports, railway stations, around the town centre and when using public transport – only carry what you need and leave spare cash and valuables in hotel safety deposits.
