Well over 5000 hits on the main site and a huge response on social media too. Not bad for Smiddy's debut. ? No better feeling than putting an article together and your fellow fans agree/appreciate it. I used to do articles for another forum years ago and was always humbled by the hits. Welldone to Smiddy. As for the " hothead" " temperament" etc, it's the kind of thing I'd expect to read on the comments section on YouTube and not from a journalist. I honestly don't ever recall Sutton and Harston being brought into question when they were kicking the shit out of the league. It was " passion" " grit" " Steel" and dare I say " a man's game" Edited December 5, 2018 by Pensively Staring
DMAA 3,606
In defence of Sutton (?), he has actually consistently praised Morelos and even rebuked Celtic fans for criticising him, even if he has joined in on the negative narrative to an extent.

der Berliner 3,424
IMHO, it depends largely on the quality of players we might get in January (or the summer) with regard to Morelos. His form hasn't gone unnoticed and when you see that Everton think about some loan-chap they have now who has a 89m buy-out clause in his contract, you know how much money is about. We have to be objective here, as for all his goals and fine play, we seemingly play up to all his strengths and when he is missing or off the boil, well, we seem to struggle somewhat. The next few games will see Lafferty (probably in the lone-striker role again) and after him, we'll probably go to youngsters or have to utilize Middleton, Grezda or Kent, when fit. Far from ideal.
buster. 4,937
An excellent article that counters the low quality and one-sided Colin Nish coming from most MSM sources. However, we can't ignore the very real issues that Alfredo Morelos does bring with him and are highlighted because of our dependency on him. Perhaps the real issue for the team on the pitch is that when for whatever reason we struggle, we need to find other ways to create and score goals. Middle to front has been a recurring problem and tends to rear it's head every 4 or 5 games. From the first International break this season, Morelos seemed to have made a concious effort to not react and get carded so readily but the second yellow at Ibrox the other night coming the day after a team meeting (did Candeias interpret ?), shows that 'the problem' very much remains. Bottomline, Alfredo is a very good player but not good enough (yet) or responsible enough to carry our hopes on his young shoulders. It's over to SG and his staff to look for solutions / other options regards middle to front creativity.
