Rangers 1 - 1 Kilmarnock

Things ...

- It should not be one of the centrehalfs jobs to distribute the ball up the field in a meaningful manner. That's what you have a creative MF or indeed a DM for. We looked far better in the 2nd half with Jack back winning the ball and playing it forward.

- Against teams that sit deep, why persist with a 4-3-3 that so often failed against such a entrenchment, be it under MW, PC, Murty or indeed SG? The plot that Arfield runs into open space alongside the striker is a neat one, BUT why not simply play Lafferty (or Sadiq) as a second striker to roam the penalty box or win balls close or in it, causing far more havoc than trying to wriggle your way through the lines of defence with the odd player? The latter is fine, once your are 2-0 up or the like.

- As noted above, most teams beyond the Scum have just a couple or so decent and dangerous players. Why not curb their "enthusiasm" a little in the same manner that fouls are handed out to us (unpunished) every single week? I'm not asking to physically harm them, but ... curb their enthusiasm. That said, how many players have we lost to heinous fouls this season, with the opposition players getting but a yellow card, if anything at all?
