Celtic’s annual wage and salary bill is £65.6m per their last full year accounts.  
 

That’s £1.26m per week, or £5.46m per month all in. 
 

Not that this diminishes the point the author is making.

That’s how I read it. So £9M approximately, the value of a couple of decent players.
