alexscottislegend 2,318
Slightly off-topic but who do we prefer to play in the final? Would be great to see us gub Keltic in a game so soon, but part of me also wants them to get stuffed again by Hertz.

Sunday will only be super if Rangers and Hearts both win.
stewarty 2,025
Craig Levin has given the SPFL both barrels over this. And Aberdeen are raging too. It really is staggering how they have arrived at this conclusion. Essentially Levein is pointing out that they could play their tie the following week when they were scheduled to play Celtic in the league already, with there essentially being until April to find a slot to reschedule the league game. Its hard to argue against the logic.

He's effectively throwing shite at the moon now but it's a standard Scottish fitbaw scenario that the tabloids will milk. rbr 1,256
There are so many things that could go wrong with this , weather , the state of the pitch , extra time and possibly penalties , fans safety , travel , its absolute madness , we are only in October its not like we are at seasons end.

I think though that the SPFL have decided themselves to suit their own agenda, rather than properly consulting with the clubs - the fact that Aberdeen and Hearts are raging underlines this.

Very much so and was always going to be the case. Gonzo79 15,292
The Hearts fans in my work are moaning, quite loudly, about the decision. I'm starting to think it's a good thing.
pete 2,499
I don't see the crowds being a problem by the Stadium. Even if there is extra time and penalties it will still be finished by 3pm. That gives 41/2 hours to clear everyone away. Anyone still hanging about is looking for trouble. The problem may come in the town with 4 sets of supporters kicking about drinking.
Rousseau 10,602
I think it's Charles Paterson from Sky Sports (?), but SG shuts him down. GIRUY.
