From the kick off, we looked anxious, lacking in confidence, and slow. It looked like we were overawed, or didn't want it, or, possibly, both. Some of it could be put down to legginess post-Rus, but it wasn't just tiredness on display. Perhaps the Ufa fallout determined the Remember the Alamo tactic, but the team selection looked more positive than that, so standing off and defending so very deep was somewhat confusing. Overall, a team should not expect to play for 10 mins or so of a 90 min game and expect anything.
