Hendrie. Forrest and mcgregor all played tonight. Hendry’s only been there 6 months so that’s a bit of a stretch.

Mourinho’s Inter Milan proved you didn’t need the majority of possession to control games, winning the CL 3-0 with just 33% possession.

They had 0 shots on target yet scored 2 goals? How does that work? The BBC stats are messed up too. They have Athens with 67% possession and the yahoos on 33%. Plus they have 0 fouls for both and 0 corners for both. Both had corners and both had fouls. Broonaldo and a couple of Greeks were booked. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/45170727
compo 7,203
In my day the only statistic that counted was goals as long as you scored one more than the other lot that would do fine .

Perhaps goals dont count is all.
buster. 5,257
Whilst this season is about us improving and not to worry too much about what happens at Celtic, last night was a notable boot in the baws for the Balance Sheet Champions. It's just a shame they didn't have a difficult league game coming up this weekend.

Ceptics possession stats are normally quite high....they spend large parts of the game simply passing it between their back-4 & sitting midfielders, all well within their own half. The opposition are rarely anywhere near them, as there's no point chasing the ball about & wasting energy.
der Berliner 3,803
They will be hurting in the Yahoo HQ ... As of 2018–19, the fixed amount of prize money paid to the clubs is as follows: Preliminary qualifying round: €230,000 First qualifying round: €280,000 Second qualifying round: €380,000 Third qualifying round: €480,000 (Only for clubs eliminated from the champions path, since clubs eliminated from the league path qualify directly for the UEFA Europa League group stage and therefore benefit from its distribution system.) Base fee for group stage: €15,250,000 Group match victory: €2,700,000 Group match draw: €900,000 ... plus crowd money et al. And no-on willing to pay the going rate for their top players either thus far. But as Andy Walker said earlier today: "The Champions League wil be poorer without Celtic!"

I was on my phone last night so never saw that bottom stat - only saw it just now when at work, and it was the first thing I noticed..... aye, that would be pretty tough I think you need to be more specific in future GS, instead of just throwing out one liners and expecting everyone to know what you are talking about.

It is all about the areas in which you have that possession that matters.
