By Michael Bell Follow Michael on Twitter The Swiss side sacked Raphael Wicky last week and reports in the local media stated that De Boer was in the running to succeed him. Speaking to Ziggo Sport, De Boer confirmed his interest in the role, “Basel has shown interest. I think I’m not the only one on the list, but it’s an interesting club, it’s a club that fits my list, they almost always play in the Champions League, have a good own youth academy, many young players and much youth flows through to the first team. ” De Boer has been out of work since being sacked by Crystal Palace last season and is open to taking a new role, should it fit his demands. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
