JFK-1 1,693
Bury fans been saying some very nice things about their visit. Small sample of many. Quote Just got back to our hotel. Apart from the scoreline, what a thoroughly enjoyable night. The Rangers fans were superb, the stadium magnificent, and the atmosphere was incredible seem as though it was a friendly against Bury! We have been educated in the politics of Scottish football and made to feel extremely welcome by all that we spoke to. Quote I've visited c.140 grounds to watch Bury games. Ibrox was the most welcoming. Quote I've been to a similar number of grounds and I agree, and walking to the ground everyone was friendly and wanting to talk about football and wanted to know about Bury FC.

trublusince1982 243
The way we play cries out for forwards with quick feet and an ability to hold up the ball in tight spaces whilst off the ball dragging the defence away from the middle. Can't see windass playing as the central forward at any point. If the boy from Roma can do all that and header a ball it will add another aspect to our attacking that will bring plenty of goals.

I remember van hoydonk was average in the air when he arrived timside......they obviously worked on it I think if I was a footballer I'd be reluctant to head the ball too much.......like blows to the head in boxing
Rousseau 10,823
I think it's his (Morelos) timing: he's either jumping too early or too late, so he never gets a good contact on the ball. The goal he scored against Bury was a header, but he didn't actually jump for it. That has to be easy enough to correct?
Gonzo79 15,299
Timing is instinctive. I'm not sure how effective training would be.

I thought crossing a few balls into him repeatedly so he can get the timing right would improve it a bit.
Gonzo79 15,299
Wouldn't do any harm. But surely our coaches and his previous coaches will have noticed the problem and tried it.
