Gazza_8 233
That's Alan just left my house after he came over for sausage and mash. He's on his way to Auchenhowie now to sign on the dotted line.
Whosthedado 1,680
AAhhh the old Alan Smith rumour - nearly as tiresome as the Robbie Fowler's signing(we're at around 94 times he's been linked:devil: )
br1ndy 0
I would cream my pants if he signed! But it will never happen
Leppardized2001 0
Hmmm is SDM going to stump up the £5million + it's going to take to get him. Doubtful. Plus Fergie has a habit of keeping faith with players after long term injury, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer another prime example. Smith would stay in the Premiership, guarentee Sunderland will also be linked with him. Be a cracking signing though.....ahhh can dream. Wija 0
As much as I am sure he would like to play for the Gers and we would all want him to come to Ibrox, it is not going to happen.
pete 2,499
We'll probably end up with Gordon Smith.

Smith is a 5 million (plus) pound player and we wont / cant pay that for someone. Our only hope was to get him on loan while he recovered from his injury and that never surfaced so this can be put to bed. However, the Fowler situation is more realistic, he is affordable and would like to play for us IMO.

If Fowler is the best we can get then let Super Ally get his boots back on. Surely giving Lennon a chance is better than a guy who has played a handfull of games in the last three years. I would be devastated if Fowler was signed instead of giving our youth a chance.
Gazza_8 233
Fowler has done absolutely nothing in the last 3 years. No way do I want him to sign for Rangers. He'd be another money grabber who did fook all on the pitch. He's lost it big time!
ascender 352
Alan Smith was in Glasgow last week, not for the first time this year. Maybe he has friends up this way or something?
