Livingston FC is delighted to finally confirm Kenny Miller as the Club’s new Manager.

The former Scotland internationalist was unveiled this afternoon at the Tony Macaroni Arena to a packed press conference.

Director John Ward was clearly delighted to get the deal over the finish line: “we’re happy we’ve finally landed Kenny. We’ve been speaking since Monday, and it’s not helped that his agent has been in Colombia with the dime difference causing some issues.

“But it’s a leap of faith for Kenny coming into management, and a leap of faith for the club too, but we’re thrilled to have him here now and he’ll be a big influence on the park as well as in the backroom.”

Chairman Robert Wilson echoed John’s sentiment. “I’m totally delighted Kenny has come after a long week. We interviewed him at the start of the week as John said, but it was only yesterday it was all finalised.  His arrival can only help the club to move forwards now.”

More to follow….

I hope Hardie has a good season but also that Miller fails as manager.  I just don't like him.

I predict muchos 'Square Goes' int the Tony Macaroni Arena dressing room :D

I had a look at a Livi forum last week and they were suggesting one of the sticking points holding it up was that Miller was insisting he was a number 1 pick for every game. Impossible to tell if that's true but if he's the best they have from week to week why wouldn't he pick himself.

And then again if he isn't the best available choice from week to week he's not much of a manager if he were to sacrifice the strongest possible team to give himself a game.

Sounds like the end result of a game of chinese whispers amongst the ITK and the not so ITK Livingston fans.
