The club also already support activities at that very venue.  They run many of their summer soccer school programs there.  Maybe they should just scrap having any soccer schools at the pitch across from the stadium and move it away seeing as the local council don’t want them there on match days.

tit for tat and all that.

Will those pitches be getting used if Rangers scrapped the soccer schools that take place there ?

It's not about getting into a tit-for-tat situation, that doesn't help anyone....it's about working with the Community Council in order to resolve their issues with the Fan zone proposal.

Maybe the Community Council should consider how much work Rangers already do in that community.

True, but we don't know the actual details of their objection.....it may well be something that can be resolved very easily and we have another case of the media making a mountain out of a molehill.

I'm sure the objection is community based and there is no anti-Rangers agenda afoot.

I'm also sure Alice Eve is going to phone me and ask for a date and that Rangers are going to win the 2020 Champions League.

How about instead of buying more shares, the point of which is really no longer valid?

Probably not because they are 100% committed to purchasing shares in the next share issue, however after that i would hope that's something they will seriously look at. Land is king and Property is it's Prince. Least that's what millionaire guy told me when i worked for him in Jersey, followed that principle since i was 25, hasn't done me any harm whatsoever.

Then, in my humble and probably insignificant opinion, they should change that commitment forthwith because they're wasting good money in a heroic attempt to piss uphill.

Do you know something i'm actually going to agree with you here, there are other good ways of helping the support and the club itself by purchasing assets like land or property.

Do you know something I'm actually going to agree with you too. There are umpteen ways that money could be used for the benefit of the club. Instead, they will continue pumping huge sums into shares that will progressively lose their value as further share issues take place. A 10.71% holding of 8,732,000 shares that's worth (say) £2.2m today will, in the event of a 50% dilution, need need a further investment of £2.2m just to stand still in terms of percentage holding. Where's the sense in that when the money could have been used to directly help club and supporters alike.
