CammyF 8,013
Not wanting this to turn into another zillion page Boyd debate, but I read on another forum that, penalties excluded, KB has scored on only 1 SPL away ground this season. Anyone know if that is correct? Cammy F
Frankie 8,552
Yeah, if you don't include the vital goals in the CIS Cup, UEFA Cup, the 2 that nearly sneaked us a draw in the Scottish Cup and the penalties that he did score one could find another reason to have a moan about Boyd's contribution...
Guest north_east_bear
I didn't realise that penalties don't count, when did that rule happen?
Laudbertz 0
How many penalties has he scored on the road in the SPL?
Gribz 850
IMO his away record wont get any better next season either unless he improves his game by gaining a better touch, losing a few pounds, starts to be more mobile in the final 3rd and stops the late nights (if those rumours are true). And also depending on if he forms a new partnership next season.
craig 5,199
IMO his away record wont get any better next season either. A bit unfair given we dont know what signings will be made in the off-season
mmcd_rfc 0
I just checked the fixtures and its true! He has only scored at Rugby Park
Laudbertz 0
There's plenty other culprits in the team to pick on before i would have a go at Boyd. The arguement is he is still the top scorer in the SPL regardless of his work ethic, granted there hasnt been much competition from other clubs' players. We've needed a goalscorer for seasons, we've now got a good, young one who has his best years ahead of him. It would be a disaster if he left imo. (not that that's on the cards).
CammyF 8,013
Christ, read what I asked - thanks for mmcd_rfc for confirming that a statistic that I didn't think was correct was actually correct.:uzi: Cammy F

I dont mind if every away goal he scores is a penalty as long as he scores it.... and if its against tic then all the better.
