Does anyone have an idea what the approx income would be from 48,000 season ticket sales?

Back of the envelope calculation

2016/17 - season tickets 43,253, income £13.6m

Allow for inflation of 3% pa, 48,000 would be around £16m.

However that's an average season ticket price of £400, which seems light, although there will be concession/child and half year tickets in there.

Not great for revenue cashflow but in the longer term we very much need to see the next generations of supporter coming to Ibrox. A disproportionate increase in sparking the younger fans interest would be a huge positve of the Steven Gerrard appointment.

And I guess further match day ticket sales would add another £1m, plus hospitality income of (guesstimate) £2m. I've no idea what match day sales (programmes, catering) amounts to but that total before sponsorships, merchandising and RangersTV  must be about £20m. Maybe someone can fine tune this?

Gate receipts and hospitality totalled £21.6m in 16/17, with another £7.6m of other income. Difficult to say how much that will increase by as obviously an increase in season tickets doesn't equate to a corresponding increase in income.

Was at Ibrox on Thursday and was informed 42k renewals, 3k wanting transfers and 12k on the waiting list.

If we could guarantee those levels annually we should be considering extending the capacity.
