The young England talent, who was sensational for England’s under-17s in their World Cup triumph last summer, has been heavily linked with a move to German side Borussia Monchengladbach. In fact, the approach from the Bundesliga outfit has been anything but amicable. Meanwhile, Liverpool will know he is in the trusted hands of a club legend who will do all he can to ensure Brewster continues to mature, all whilst hopefully improving Rangers’ frontline. Presenting a full plan for his development would give Brewster the desire he needs to remain at Liverpool. Heading to Ibrox would then be a perfect opportunity for him to start finding the net and adapting to the men’s game. A Rangers loan switch makes perfect sense for all parties. Mathew Coull Sounds like a plan

As I’ve said I think we should use the loan market sparingly but he’s a perfect example of the kind of player we should be trying to loan. Someone who walks into the starting line-up.
buster. 4,937
The lad Wilson would be an excellent piece of business. A huge advantage wrt reducing risk is the fact that Gerrard will already know him very well and you'd imagine will have the absolute attention and respect from the young player.
DMAA 3,606
Capturing Wilson & Skrtel would prove that he can attract a higher quality player to the club than would ever be possible under an ordinary manager, even an accomplished one like Walter Smith. Very excited to see who else he can attract if these are confirmed. Hoping the rumour regarding Goldson is true.
der Berliner 3,424
Rhian Brewster ... so we might have him, Martin, Liam, Declan, Joshua, James, Jordan, Connor and Daniel ... I reckon some will only call them by their family names Edited May 21, 2018 by der Berliner
der Berliner 3,424
Quote Brighton and Hove Albion in no rush to hear from Glasgow Rangers over Connor Goldson Brian Owen Albion are waiting to see whether Glasgow Rangers come in with a second bid for Connor Goldson. But they will be quite happy if they do not hear again from the Ibrox outfit. If necessary, the Seagulls will tell the Scottish giants their former Shrewsbury centre-back remains a big part of their plans at the Amex, unless things take a dramatic twist this summer. Albion have rejected an initial bid in the region of £1.5 million from Rangers for the 25-year-old defender. The offer is know to have fallen well below their valuation of the player. They see Goldson as part of their thoughts for next term along with a central defender who will be added to make up for the departure of Uwe Huenemeier. Goldson, thought to be valued at about £2 million, was targeted by the new Rangers management team of Steven Gerrard and assistant Gary McAllister as part of their ’build from the back’ approach to closing the gap on treble winners Celtic. Sources north of the border believe Goldson would find the allure of joining Rangers and working with Anfield legend Gerrard irresistible. And not just because he is a Liverpool fan and, therefore, big admirer of the new Ibrox boss. The feeling behind closed doors at Albion’s training complex in Lancing is that Goldson is good enough to play Premier League football south of the border. Which is why they are in no rush whatsoever either to sell him or to invite bids. At the same time, they are aware he needs to be playing regular games at a higher level to maintain his rate of development. That has not been forthcoming all the time Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy have been turning in quality performances as Chris Hughton’s first choice duo. Albion in no rush to hear from Rangers - but Goldson destiny is uncertain The Goldson situation is seen as one which could change as the summer goes on and signings are made at both Albion and Rangers. Gerrard wants at least two new centre-backs for his squad but the Seagulls are in no rush or mood to sell. Neither do they have any pressing need to do business.
