Precious West Ham Utd

Recommended Posts

The London stadium is totally unsuitable for for football. Many West Ham fans were opposed to the move but their board went there presumably because of its bigger capacity than Upton Park.

It cost something like £270m to convert it into a football stadium of which West Ham paid very little towards. And British Athletics have something like a fifty year lease so modifications are difficult as the running track would have to remain.

Spurs originally looked at moving in but want to demolish it & rebuild. That was refused so they re-developed White Hart Lane. Wise move I'd say
