DMAA 3,658 Posted April 16, 2018 Share Posted April 16, 2018 I'm sounding like a broken record, but if he was paired with Cummings he'd look a lot better. 4-4-2 would bring out the best of him because there would be less pressure on him to score. However, he's also a young guy with broken English playing in a foreign country with a team that when things don't go well, the pressure becomes intense. He's also played without a rest for a long time (no close season last summer). He's about to turn 22 - he's not a raw 17 year old. He's missing chances in key games that any half decent striker should be finishing. Kris Boyd is at Killie, about to turn 35 and is vastly outperforming Morelos in goal scoring this season. Morelos was initially hugely impressive, but he's been poor for a while now. johnnyk 158 Posted April 16, 2018 Share Posted April 16, 2018 He is still a young foreign player learning here. I can't believe what some of our fans are saying about him. Even when he misses sitters and doesn't play well he still gives 100% unlike most of the others. Better players than him have taken longer to settle in to our club, some are even legends now, he needs more time, more support and a manager who needs to bring us together, we need confidence as we have none whatsoever, this all affects the players.
