Awful defence from Cardoso.

Yes, it did seem to be coming but the manner of it was shocking. I had my eyes closed at corner after corner but we survived all those only to be caught out by Brown (of all bloody folk) punting it long up the park.  Cardoso and Wes all over the place.  I guess they've not been playing together for a while but alas they made  Dembele's mind up for him and he'll now be sky high in the confidence stakes.

You'd have to think with these defences that more goals will come.

Touch of luck with their first goal, the second was again beyond belief. Lump by Brown (who is the usual fhanny) and the ball bounces perfectly for Dembele to score one he doesn't do every week.

They had us under the cosh for the last 10 mins, as we were reacting rather than being proactive ourself. Started defending far too deep and when they come at you with pace, well. Need to change that in the second half, their defence is woeful and needs to be exploited.

Good game from John thus, Murphy's still a bit off pace it seems.

BTW, please don't start player bashing. Cardoso has not been on the park for ages (you can ask Murty et al why he doesn't see game time or more firendly stuff) and then is thrown in at the deep end against the Scum when they are in full swing.

It's beginning to look like our best paring is Martin and Bates.

We're the higher scoring team. I see us scoring again and if this defence can get itself sorted out we can still take this. Morelos to get one then Cummings to come on and net the 4th to clinch it.

And, even if it all backfired here, we have clearly seen that we have a good team in the process of being built. Look what we're doing to them even with our horrific injury list that would cripple any other team in the SPL.

Thought I'd just check on here to see what you guys think.  We look dangerous every time we go forward and they look afraid of the pace we have.  At the back though .... dear oh dear.  We are giving them too much space.  It is still our game if we keep the pace up, but we need to close down the space for them outside our box.

Thier first wasnt lucky Rogic does that almost every time he's playing when they play us. Wes should have done better than he did though.
