It is good news. But Rossiter? With Jack, Docherty, Goss, McCrorie, Dorrans, Holt and Windass just in front, where is he in the pecking order now?

Well down it but that allows us to take our time with him and hopefully get him back to full fitness in time for next season.

Declan John also trained so with Lee Wallace playing 90mins the other day in a friendly, we're looking good at left back.

Just awaiting confirmation Russell Martin trained as there were a few rumours suggesting he'd been injured earlier in the week.

After Murphy, Martin would be the biggest miss of those who there are question marks against in my view.  He's got a calmness that I think works well with Bates, and he uses his experience well to position himself and avoid having to make too many last ditch tackles.

We haven't yet got a central defensive partnership that gives you confidence.

In fact, neither defence is that good when put under pressure and IMO, it'll be about trying to dominate the midfield to limit exposure.
