But don't let that persuade you he has anything but greater control over the SFA in mind for Celtic when he criticises the present incumbents. They may be corrupt and incompetent but Lawwell is a scheming bastard who wouldn't give sporting integrity the time of day. That dead wood suited him just fine when he effectively took over control of Scottish football. If Lawwell wants the dead wood out of Hampden then it will only be to serve his own narrow purposes and you can bet that will be to the further detriment of Rangers.
