Pacific Quay Musings?

Recommended Posts

When do we get to the point when we officially ban them all? Everyone we know who is complicit in what’s going on, make a point of banning them officially from Ibrox. At least it makes a statement of intent and they will have to talk about “why” they are banned.

No football writer is "banned", a f a I k, the Club has merely 'withdrawn their credentials'.

A pity their faithers didn't withdraw their credentials, at the critical moment, those years ago.

I understand that Uilleam it would be nice if we did ban them officially though. Then others would ask why and this issue of bias and unbalanced reporting due to political reasons is highlighted.

Actually banning football writers would be a significant escalation, and would perhaps lead to similar from the other side, with no coverage from affected organisations as a result. It might provoke sympathy action, also; from other writers, almost certainly.

However, you never know until you try. Note that if the Club wishes to ban writers, such would be the controversy, it would have to get it absolutely right.

The verdict is in........not guilty!

Thompson and Stewart were unanimous on Sportscene that Scott Brown’s misdemeanour wasn’t a stamp and wasn’t deserving a red. One of the clearest stamps you’ll see all season. Impunity comes to mind. Compare this to their faux outrage at far smaller incidents involving Morelos and it proves double standards and hypocrisy of the highest order.
