BBC Scotland supports all Scottish clubs in Europe?

 

Of course, we know and, the rest of Scottish football knows; BBC Scotland supports one team more than all the rest put together. It is ra Sellik state of mind. Last night's 7-1 humbling in Dortmund presents a real problem for the denizens of PQ's Gang Hut. Domestically, it is a procession for their beloved green'n'grey hooped horrors. The national broadcaster is intent upon leading the gaudy coloured cavalcade. It is an exercise in triumphalism and the usual suspects are determined to be seen exercising ridiculous swagger when leading the parade. The Drum Major tosses the stick into the air, the cheers echo and, amid the cacophony you can hear the plaintive cry, 'in Brenda we trust'.

 

In his two spells as Sellik Gaffer, Brendan has put out teams in the Champions League that have conceded seven goals on three occasions, six goals once and, five goals twice. He conducts the after match pressers with the same line of mitigation, suffered misfortune, endured higher standards of officialdom and, lessons have been learned from the experience. The last point is something PQ CSC ignores, despite another thumping the preferred narrative of way over the top hyperbole continues. Since the Slovaking easy victory over Bratislava the specific comments emanating from the Gang Hut have compounded :

 

"Kyogo is akin to Messi" - I might have noticed this quality last night if he had not been replete in an invisible cloak.

"Maeda is the best presser in world football" - James McFadden blamed him for two of Dortmund's goals.

"Celtic are playing like the Harlem Globetrotters" - I suspect they were confusing the basketball entertainers with the reality, the Gallowgate Bogtrotters?

"Celtic have invested in their future with Engels whereas Rangers are stuck with the same old faces" - I am sure he will be the third famous Belgian after TinTin and Hercule Poirot.

 

PQ CSC has wound it's neck in reference website articles. The day after their Slovan victory, we were treated to 8(eight) pieces including the effect on the Scottish coefficient and how much money was earned from the game. There are only two articles this afternoon, one of which is a hard hitting critique by Tom Anguish. I thought they may have included Financial Analyst, Kieran Maguire's jottings ie Dortmund have three times the budget of Celtic whereas ra Bhoys have a budget 25 times that of St Johnstone? No, the continuing Sellik fantasy consumes the Gang Hut, there is no sustenance in cold porridge reality.

 

Talking of Tom, the very essence of PQ was on display near the end of Sportsound. The panel was Kenny Macintyre(the Token), Pat Bonner, James McFadden and, Tom English. There had been a fastidious non mention of the last Scottish club to visit Dortmund throughout the show's four and a half hours. It was only three years past but the game was not referenced. The consensus being Brendan's team had been both naive and soft, would he/could he change it? Pat and James opined well rehearsed platitudes then, Tom dropped the R bomb. He compared Rangers 2-4 victory, recited the Dortmund team and, suggested a more practical approach from Brendan. The responses were illuminating.

 

James dismissed the comparison with, "Brendan won't shut up shop and hope for a result" and Pat bullishly replied, "no Celtic supporter would take advice from a Rangers performance". Kenny moved the discussion on to the next game against Atlanta because the Producer/Director guillotined further discussion on that specific topic. A reminder of a Rangers victory was only going to rub salt into collective raw wounds.  Pat allowed his mask to slip but, McFadden's retort is preposterous, Rangers parked the bus and got lucky on four occasions? Watch the game again Faddy.

 

Brendan will continue to produce many more Champion League stinking turds and PQ will do Peter's bidding by rolling each and everyone of them in glitter.

Time for a change?

 

I achieved a link to ra Sellik versus the Dandies in the lieu of hearing Aberdeen had gone 2-3 up with twenty minutes to play. It was ra Sellik TV with Gerry McCulloch informing those viewing that the mighty reds third was correctly cancelled for hand ball. Next on the 80th minute, Gerry reckoned there were at least 14 minutes to be added on after the ninety. I switched to PQ CSC broadcasting and they were demanding at least ten minutes be added on.

 

In the 91st minute, ten minutes was on the board being held up on the sideline and the Gang Hut exhaled, "anything can happen". Nick Walsh eventually blew his whistle in the 15th minute of the ten minutes added. The national broadcaster fail failed to mention this anomaly.  It is what Peter wants.

Would Walsh have added on 15 minutes if Shellik were winning? 😳

I mean, when they hold the board up, the number is the minimum time to be added (this seems to confuse a lot of people, for whatever reason).  Never watched that lot, so have no idea about the added time...or added added time.

I understand.

 

However, lets do the arithmetic.

 

A minimum of 7 minutes were added at the culmination of the first half, eight minutes were played. A minimum of 10(ten) minutes were added on at the end of the match, over 14 minutes were played. Twenty-two minutes were added to the ninety, that is a 24% augmentation.

 

What other club can expect such generosity?

They do seem to benefit from excessive added time whenever they're not winning, that I'll grant you.  However, we need someone to provide more specific details and make them public if favouritism is happening.  

 

No point going on about it unless we have facts to validate our concerns.

SteveCo Talks Sevco!

 

The PQ Gang Hut began to assemble the firing squad a month past. After Rangers defeats at both Pittodrie and Rugby Park, the firing squad were ordered to load, make ready and fire. Obviously, the target was Rangers Gaffer, Philippe Clement and the national broadcaster justified their actions by citing Rangers supporters demands. The Belgian remains bound to the post but continues to breathe. The club Board have so far failed to deliver the inevitable for probably three reasons :

 

1. Clement has taken the club to their third successive national cup final.

2. Clement has guided the club to successive promising performances in the Europa League.

3. Clement achieved the provided brief ie moved players on, cut the wage bill substantially and, was rewarded with an improved contract.

 

Impatience within the PQ Gang Hut is being tempered by concurrent activity. Anticipation levels are rising as the saliva runs down the chops of ra Sellik state of mind collective. Right across the national broadcaster's outlets - Sportsound, Sportscene, the View from the Terrace, Off the Ball, ........ etc; they have all sniggered whilst warning of an upcoming humiliation for Rangers in the League Cup final against Sellik. Rangers are funny and getting funnier reinforced by Craig Fowler's coup de main, "Rangers are hilarious".

 

The laughing stocks are our confinement and the Gang Hut both encourages and rewards the continuous pelting of rotten fruit. Constant exposure is guaranteed if you chorus the issued narrative. Rangers supporters are stupid for accepting the situation and deserve ridicule. Providing regular supposed imagery is supplied because marginalisation makes it easier to hate. Step up to the microphone former Chair of Dundee United, Stephen Thompson.

 

On Saturday, Tam Cowan introduced Uncle Fester and told us he would present an insight into the events of 2012. Ray Bradshaw wondered aloud as to why Stephen was blamed for Rangers demise? The chortle fest ran for two hours :

 

Stephen told of his 'successful' ten year tenure at the Tayside club where integrity was the guiding force.

Stephen told of being persuaded by his club's supporters to condemn Rangers to the fourth tier. Apparently they refused to purchase season tickets unless Dundee United voted us out. Stephen sided with sporting integrity.

Stephen reminded us he served for five years on the SPL management Committee. Stephen wanted to ensure adherence to sporting integrity.

Stephen reminded us he refused to enter the Ibrox Board room at the 2014 Scottish Cup semi-final, preferring to sit with his fellow fans because he felt threatened. Stephen maintained his integrity.

Stephen told of a continuing threats and a wariness of west coast accents. He illustrated this by a recent visit to northern England where he was accosted and relieved when his questioner revealed he was a Yahoo, the meeting culminated with fist pumps. The entire bar applauded the displayed integrity.

Stephen told of charging Rangers supporters again for a postponed game but not levelling the charge to his own supporters. Their is a real cost to sporting integrity and Rangers fans must pay it.

Oh, and Stephen revealed he declared himself bankrupt recently.

 

Now, is Stephen Thompson still Stephen Thompson? He wants to get back into the game and noted Rangers are looking for a Chief Executive. Is he a separate entity? Can Sevco employ SteveCo? Do we need to host a series of Sell Out Saturday events to raise the funds to provide protection to SteveCo? Is there any integrity to be found in these supposed episodes or is it just another PQ Gang Hut sponsored sniggerfest?

 

Of course, PQ omitted the full integrity presentation because the facts are inconvenient to the pushed narrative :

 

Stephen was launched from the family home by his then wife because of constant extramarital affairs.

Stephen was hauled into court by one former mistress because he refused to pay maintenance for their child.

Stephen was blackmailed by a teenage girl whom he met on a Sugar Daddy website.

Stephen employed Jum Spence as his personal PRO.

 

I suggest Stephen forms a double act with another Rangers hating bankrupt, Chris Sutton will bring some integrity to SteveCo and help secure the position of succeeding hosts to RAB Cosgrove and Tam Cowan.
