Good to see Celtic in the Thursday night cup, hopefully it has the same jinx to English clubs and derails league form.

Just looking at the groups and finishing top in the group no longer has the same advantages. Juventus, Chelsea and Bayern all runners up and very likely Real Madrid will be.

PSG got a bit of a beating tonight, they have had things easy so far and that's their first test away from home.

Its quite open this year though.

Anderlecht missed a few sitters in the first half that could have given them a chance.

When I said good to see them in that cup its purely because if they werent in it then they would probably be stronger domestically. So long as they dont go on and win it which I cant see as there is some strong teams in it this season. But also means they will be playing Sundays and might mean we will have more Saturday games when the TV changes times.

Third away win in 39 attempts. The yahoos apparently haven't had a home win in 4 years.

That record indicates, clearly, that the so called '12th man' of their self styled "magnificent home support" is significantly less influential in affecting the outcomes of ties than those cowed and cowardly referees, etc., who officiate their domestic matches.

Rogers record in the CL.

One win, three draws, eight defeats. The one win came away to Anderlecht who were apparently in a slump at the time. The yahoos have the second worst goal difference of this years group stage on -13 while only Anderlecht have a worse statistic on -15.
