That would in turn mean that you essentially call Murty a liar? I for one would assume that the days when "the club" is rather liberal with the truth are past us. The story started with freelance journalist and Celtic fan Ewing Grahame writing in the Times (of London) – the allegation spread quickly both in the media and on social media. The problem was the story was simply wrong. In fact, Alves had injured his back in training and has still to resume training.* Bruno was in the stand on Saturday watching the game and attended the Rangers Charity Ball on Saturday night. When contacted by the club, The Times accepted story was wrong and apologised for it in this morning’s paper. The Daily Record also ran with the story and have now taken it down from their website* – they have admitted it is wrong but are refusing to apologise.
