jaws 0
Dose any body think same as me that Graeme should be a serious contender for manager . He seems to have respect from our senior players or is a lot of money for an Aberdeen manager our answer.
SteveC 150
It is an absolutely crucial appointment and we have to get it right. And he'd be a big gamble. However: Everyone else mentioned, and anyone we might attract, would also be a big gamble. I also think that this is a bad time to change manager. I don't think the January window is a good time to buy even though we will want to. We may not have any money to do so in any case, come to that. Were we to announce 'Murty to the end of the season and then we'll see' it would not actually stop the media focusing on McInnnes, and so might continue to unsettle the sheep. Uilleam 5,948
He seems to be 2nd favourite now.
the gunslinger 3,366
I think he has to be a contender. Hearts and thistle arent the best but good wins in both. He also finished strong last time.
cooponthewing 1,139
I would give him it until the end of the season. Then look at it again.

Mutry is the smallest gamble we have. You could give him this season and it would just cost a bit higher wage. I doubt we will be buying many players in January so we could see what he does. Just to the winter pause to start with is also an option.
Big Jaws 570
He's had two matches and steadied the ship so far which is good for him and us fans but he's the youth coach and thats what he wants to do. His stock and rep with fans is quite high but he's not under any pressure right now which would change if he was given the job. Personally I think he's well aware of that and I dont think he wants the job but that doesnt mean he wouldnt throw his name in the hat if asked to put it forward. gisabeer 409
he's ticking all the boxes right now and if he continues in the same vein then it might be difficult for the board to ignore him. I would take him over mcinness in a heartbeat.
cooponthewing 1,139
Do you mean a raise because he would be first team manager? It would still be a cheaper option than McInnes wouldn't it? I've been thinking he might be the best option. I've read that other managers think highly of him and that he's incredibly intelligent. He is obviously well spoken and navigates the inevitable bait questions from press well, despite his inexperience. If I recall, he set up well against the scum, giving us a chance at least, which is more than Pedro did. He seems the respect and ears of the players. His inexperience is the only negative as far as I can see. He comes across really well. He spoke to a group of us on the pitch at a day at Auchenowie. Rbr was there too. Seems very confident and highly intelligent, at least when discussing football.

Tried to edit my post to fix some faulty grammar and it hit the delete key two millimeters above my thumb click! Corrected original post below.
