I don't believe in all this fake offendedness going on nowadays. Especially when it is 2 guys holding a private conversation via text message. Had he came out and said what he thought in front of an audience that's different. "Having assessed the evidence, and in light of the finding that the communications were sent with a legitimate expectation of privacy, The FA will not be taking disciplinary action" is what the FA decided. By no measure has Jack — sent off three times in 14 appearances, one of them rescinded — played better for Rangers than he did in seven campaigns at Aberdeen. Maybe Malky Mackay would have picked him when Gordon Strachan was unimpressed, of course. Other than Jack, Mackay’s Scotland squad looks sensible and fresh: more than half full of players from the SPFL and with a sprinkling of new/newish faces and three Aberdeen players (plus Jack) for a fixture at Pittodrie.
