Barrheadboy 16
Is there ever the remotest chance we could stay on thread? I didn’t ask about Celtic or their ground I asked about Murrayfield as a suitable venue for a national matches and finals
colinstein 294
as someone who has never been there I can exclusively reveal it is shite on the other hand you'd be better listening to those who've actually been to the ground
RANGERRAB 3,681
If Murrayfield isn't used, and I don't think for one second the lease on Hampden will get renewed, it will be a licence for the manks to print money. There may be the odd minor match played around Scotland but all finals and all the important national games will be played at the Paedodome. The paedodome might not be able to get used. The yahoos move to Hampden & the SFA use murrayfield
BEARGER 1,830
Only been to Murrayfield for concerts. Surely it must be better than Hampden? IMO Hampden should be binned after 2020,games can be played at various grounds depending on crowd expected.
pete 2,499
Maybe a Glasgow Club with a shaky stadium might need it............ It will be sold to Celtic for a squalid sum as part of a community development.
Gonzo79 15,294
I've been to old a new Murrayfield for rugby and today for football. It is a good stadium. But it is not in a good location for football (segregation) and there's something lacking about it. But I'm a bit of a fuddy duddy and find new stadiums a bit soulless. It is certainly better than Hampden.
compo 7,060
I believe there has been talks with some sfa members , and Glasgow council as well as the hooped horrors with a view to making their stadium the main one .

RANGERRAB 3,681
Most importantly Scotland matches and cup finals must not go to Parkhead. The yahoos will be lucky to still be playing at Porkheid if the stories I'm hearing about their stadium are true.
