Why are our authorities listening to bigots and terrorist supporters ?

This falsehood about the meaning of the word "fenian" is continually perpetrated by Graham Spiers who states as "fact" that Rangers supporters regard the terms "Catholic" and "Fenian" as being synonymous. Personally I regard it as a derogatory term applied to anti British terrorist supporting rats and certainly not to RCs end block.

The unfortunate thing is that the song is about Billy Fullerton who had little to do with anti-British terrorism and more about fighting Catholics so that is what makes it so hard to defend. I agree though I personally have never thought of the word Fenian as anti-Catholic and I don't see why tIm,hun or any other derogatory words are any better.

Fair point but even that never occurred to me. I guess then folk like spiers would be ok with 'whose the fenian in the black' or other such ditties. Never quite understood why our fans can't just sing 'Celtic blood' - as in club not race graham.
