pete 2,499
Have you read about it anywhere? I can't remember where but I am sure I read that Porto had also sent an e-mail to Rangers FC. Edited September 14, 2017 by pete

Bluedell 5,471
Sorry excuse the mistake from the financial illiterate although I should know by now it has been said often enough. Can't be easy for you Dutch/German guys
Walterbear 557
Back in 2003 we kept an UEFA Cup away from Kerrydale... Always had a soft spot for Porto even before then. i doubt the story is an official Benfica view.
ranger_syntax 4,006
I am not sure where their facts are based on or why they would want to produce such a list but their facts against Rangers are obviously wrong as Rangers tax evasion was perfectly legal just badly administered. As far as I have read is that Rangers FC has been made aware of it and I would imagine will contact to Benfica to ask what it is about. As for the Glasgow Rangers thing. It will always be Glasgow Rangers to me even although it is not official. Most of the world know us as Glasgow Rangers and in Holland we are even known better as Glasgow than of Rangers. Most sports programmes call us Glasgow. I have even phoned in about it but it has never changed. An old firm game is Celtic v Glasgow to them. Tax evasion?

les186 271
Tax evasion? I always get mixed up. Tax evasion is illegal. Tax avoidance is legal
pete 2,499
I always get mixed up. Tax evasion is illegal. Tax avoidance is legal That is what happened I have no idea what is what. I bring my papers to the union representative who deals with tax forms and he fills them in. Mostly because I have a mortgage I get money back. That is my understanding of the tax system.
pedropinto 0
Is there somewhere on that site which actually explains what they might mean with "corrupt"? No idea, as it is just something totally made up. It is making some headlines, actually: http://www.calciomercato.com/en/news/ac-milan-and-juventus-included-in-most-corrupt-clubs-in-europe-l-53734 https://en.as.com/en/2017/09/15/football/1505472908_194177.html

Can't see how Rangers will not forgo the opportunity to sue them for a few million and bolster our squad.
