Alex Ferguson is a 'Scottish b*stard' but I doubt he would be insulted by the description. Being a hard nosed 'Scottish b*stard' was a prominent feature of his man management style and no one could argue it didn't work for him. If they did they might get a boot in the face Beckham fashion.
