Steven Naismith regrets manner of departure in June 2012

He would be a bad apple because of the past.

He cant even get a start for Scotland at the moment - that says it all.

We have to agree to disagree on this one Craig.

You can hardly use his past as an reason for thinking he would be a bad apple. The ONLY past that would count is how he is in previous dressing rooms - and his managers have all said, I think, he is a great influence.

He isn't getting a game for Scotland because Strachan is a donkey... I mean tit :D

But I think it would, it automatically brings in a cloud and people will ask questions - new players will be curious. The fans certainly will have a split on him and that goes right through to the dressing room. His boat has sailed for me.

He WAS a decent player but I dont think would give us much more than 1 season. He isnt a model pro like Miller IMO.

Who advised him then ? Margaret McGibbon? You decide

I would guess his agent but truth be told I don't know. But someone talked him and Whittaker into doing that press conference because as has been pointed out others left and basically said nothing.
