Graham Spiers launches disgusting attack on Rangers' Chaplain

Recommended Posts

Spiers is just a dejected attention seeker going insane through his hatred of himself.

Gerry McNee started suffering from the same sickness just before he disappeared altogether from public view, I mind of his rants that Rangers fans anthem 'Follow Follow' should be banned because of the line "If they go to Dublin..."

It is perhaps one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen on twitter.

Spier's tried to wind up Rangers fans and failed then conjured up the most ludicrous accusation of bigotry ever seen, such was its' lunacy that even Jeanette Findlay came to Stuart McQuarrie's defence (yes really!!!!).

What I read from Jeanette Findlasy wasnt aimed as a defense of Stuart but rather someone else talking about "people believing in a being that floats in the sky". She may very well, though, have defended Stuart subsequent to what I read earlier today

Speirs is also the epitome of the hypocrite.

He is the man who coined, almost jocularly, a phrase, "displaying a natural denominational antipathy" to explain, excuse, and, yes, condone, a sectarian onslaught on a Scottish referee by rahoops' support, during a match between Dundee Utd and rasellik. The referee was Michael McCurry, a Baptist Minister.

In Speirs' world view, a limited and self limiting perspective, there is "religious bigotry" -and religiously based 'thought crimes', I may add- on the one hand, and on the other, "natural denominational antipathy". One is reprehensible, socially constructed, and not tolerable; the other innate, hereditary, congenital, and, thus, to be indulged.

A useful idiot for the prejudiced.

Will Speirs face action from the police? His comments are arguably discriminatory and most defiantly imo passive sectarian.

He has overstepped the mark once too often. GURSC should look to take this further. They have the means and should pursue Speirs.
