Wow, that is a very tough month's fixtures right before the shutdown. If we are close to the tims going into those games, it will be the defining month of the campaign.

 

A lot of tough games (that we failed to win last year) before we even get that deep into the season of course.

I'm focused on taking 21 points from the first 7 games. If we can do that we would be topping the league with confidence running high. As for the opening game we consistently beat them home and away last season and I would expect the same again.

 

It's actually as good an opening sequence as we could have hoped for with all the harder ones at home.

And incidentally what's the betting the opening sequence will be claimed a conspiracy to help us completely ignoring that it's a cycle and we had the opposite scenario last year.

Hibs Hearts Aberdeen and the trash all at home in the first 10 games

 

an opportunity there that can't be missed as the scum will also have europe in some form to contend with

 

The manager has to make sure we get off to a good start.
