Frankie 8,297 Posted June 22, 2017 Share Posted June 22, 2017 From what little of the match i saw i could tell that Alves will be a huge step up in class, his distribution was great and always looked to make a forward pass rather sideways. So dominant in the air and bullied a few of their strikers at times I didn't watch the game but I watched the pundits at the end and a part of their report was how poor Portugal were at defending cross balls and showed about 5 occasions that Russia were near to scoring from crosses.
